Change your username

Usernames are unique, changeable once every 14 days, and your old one is released.

  1. Open Settings → Profile.
  2. Tap your username and type a new one. Availability is checked as you type.
  3. Tap Save.
  • 3 to 20 characters: letters, numbers, dots and underscores.
  • Not case-sensitive: @Sara and @sara are the same.
  • One change every 14 days.
  • Your old username becomes available to others straight away, and links to it stop pointing at you.
