Snaps: pictures and videos that open once
Photos and videos in chat open once, can be replayed once, then disappear. Text stays.

Tap the camera in a chat to send a snap. The recipient can open it once and replay it once; after that it is gone from both sides. Ting tells you when a snap was opened, replayed or screenshotted.
Text messages stay unless someone deletes them. Tap and hold a message to save it in the chat: saved messages are kept for both sides and marked with a bar.
Opening rules are enforced on our servers, not on the phone, so a modified app cannot keep a snap.
